Valerii
Titishev is the violinist with rich experience
of performing classical and traditional music. He worked as the
concertmaster at the Ukrainian ensemble “Zoriany”
synthesizing instrumental pieces, combining music with ballet and bringing
it together onto bright artistic show. He also performed at the Philharmonic of the Greater Kansas City,
played classical duos, quartets, and performed
at Ukrainian “Concertino” chamber orchestra, playing solo as well.
Valerii’s concert tours include
France, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Moldova and Belarus.
Valerii performed with internationally
acclaimed Ukrainian chamber orchestra “Kyiv Soloists” under direction of
Prof. Bogodar
Kotorovych. Valerii has won a number
of competitions. The most notable awards include
Grand Prize at the International Cultural
Festival “Slavyansky Bazar” in Belarus
(1997), diplomas and scholarships at the Ukrainian Cultural Fund “New
Names of Ukraine” (1995-1997), Grand Prize at the Kyiv Family Creative
Festival “Tune of Two Hearts” (1999), Grand
Prize at the competition “Silver Note” in Odessa, Ukraine where
Valerii was awarded the violin (1999).
Received Special Prize for excellent performance of Romanian/Jazz piece
at the International Competition in Moldova (2001), awarded by the
author, Boris Dubossarsky. Awarded First
Prizes at violin competitions in Ukraine held at Dnepropetrovsk Music
College and at Donetsk Conservatory (2005). Valerii
was awarded the International Full Music Scholarship at Park University, Missouri (2005)
and attended Graduate Certificate
Program in Music Performance with emphasis in solo and ensemble
recitals. Valerii was awarded Grand Prize at
Naftzger Young Artists Competition held in
Wichita, Kansas (2006).
Valerii
holds Associate Degree in Violin, Orchestra Performance and Teaching
earned at Kirovograd Music College, and Bachelor of Arts degree in
Finance earned at Park University, Missouri. |
